AINSLIE, ACT. — John Telek, VK1JT, located in Ainslie, Canberra, continues dialling into various digital amateur ‘ham’ radio networks, causing intentional interference in breach of Australian federal law, Australian amateur radio regulations and international law.
This afternoon, Telek had to (again) be removed from the VK Linked Repeater System for continually causing harmful interference on purpose.
Whilst amateur radio operators can – and do – sometimes cause interference, this is usually inadvertent during experimentation, testing of new systems, antenna or similar system tests. Mr Telek continues to purposely cause harmful interference.
Telek operates AllStar node 66252, and amateur radio operators are continually instructing Telek to operate properly, and ‘follow the rules’ often to no avail, whilst Telek continually fails to meet the Australian and International radio communications law, and the Amateur Radio Operator’s Code of Conduct.
Whilst claiming to be diagnosed with several mental illnesses, it is alleged by several verified sources that Telek continues to be taking methamphetamine for his ‘self-diagnosis.’
Mr Telek claims that on-air responses to his illegal behaviour “we now have .. The cause of schizophrenia.
A psychologist, speaking off the record, who has been provided Mr Telek’s posts, QRZ.com page and recordings of his on-air behaviour, called such claims “absolute garbage at best.”
“If anything, it is [Mr] Telek’s own behaviour that is causing his own issues. He is responsible for that, not schizophrenia,” the source told VicNews.
“Human beings cause schizophrenia in other human beings simply by not being nice to them over a period of time and not showing them any empathy, compassion, love or understanding, otherwise known as trauma.
“Ignorance, arrogance, intolerance and apathy have taken over the world or figuratively speaking. The devil runs the place,” Telek’s qrz.com page states.
“We also need to abolish prison altogether and completely rethink how we do justice, and rather than degenerate, we end up rehabilitating the person properly so they can be fully functional back in society and not a threat or a worry because we deal with the real problems,” Mr Telek states.
Mr Telek appears to be no fan of prisons because that is where one may end up if one continually breaks the law and continues breaching Federal and international regulations as Mr Telek does.
Mr Telek continues to attribute his ‘self-diagnosis and ‘self-medication’ of using illicit drugs as an ongoing excuse for his behaviour.
“That’s just an excuse for his behaviour,” the psychologist told VicNews.
