A 32-year-old female police sergeant from North-West Metro Region has been charged with unlawful assault and offensive behaviour following an internal investigation.
The charges relate to an alleged incident in Coldstream on February 10 2023, while the member was off duty.
The unnamed officer has been summonsed to appear before an unnamed court at a later date.
