Police have charged a 33-year-old Sunshine man after he was allegedly located with a firearm in Pakenham on Monday.
Emergency services were called to reports a man was unresponsive on Railway Avenue, Pakenham at about 3.40pm.
A firearm and drugs were allegedly found on the man and seized by police.
He was taken to hospital for observation.
The Sunshine man has been charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled weapon and drug offences.
He will appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on November 8, 2023.
