Current Murrindindi Shire CEO, Margaret Abbey officially finishes her role as shire CEO in June 2018, with Mayor Charlotte Bisset stating at August’s council meeting “The CEO recruitment process has commenced with the appointment of the recruitment agency…”
“With the aim the position will be advertised widely within the next few weeks,” Bisset said.
“The permanent appointment of a new CEO will be from June 28, 2018.”
Abbey continues to be present at Council meetings and functions and is currently performing her role as Shire CEO, despite announcing her ‘retirement’ from council.
Murrindindi Shire’s CEO package is currently worth approximately $240,000 annually.
