Police investigate Doreen fire

Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fire at a community centre in Doreen earlier this year.

It is believed unknown offenders forced entry into the premises on Hazel Glen Drive and started a fire about 11.20pm on Wednesday, January 10.

The offenders fled the scene in an unknown direction with major damage caused.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to suspicious behaviour in the area at the time.
