Shots fired at Mill Park home whilst mother feeding 15-day-old baby

Victoria Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a firearms incident which occurred in Mill Park last week.

Emergency services were called to an address in Romano Avenue about 4.30am on Monday 4 February after reports that two gunshots were fired into a home.

The occupants, a 28-year-old male, 28-year-old female and 15-day old baby, were home at the time. The mother was feeding the baby at the time of the incident.

The Herald Sun reported “A mum has narrowly escaped being shot while feeding her 15-day-old baby at home in Melbourne’s north.”

All occupants were uninjured and the investigation is ongoing.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or with any information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report on www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
