It has been demonstrated by 60 Minutes and a Chinese website that illegal shooting by Chinese high-rollers at Dude Ranch (Balaclava) is already occurring regularly. Should Murrindindi Shire pass this company’s latest application?
The Chinese website shows that the property operates these packages for Chinese holidays every day. The site states: “Open all day from Monday to Sunday.”
I urge readers, councillors, police and DEWLP officers to visit the Chinese website using Google Chrome browser. Press the translate button and view for yourself. UPDATE: The original site has been deleted but can be viewed here.
Whilst the amended – yet to be publicly released – planning application before council does not include a shooting range as proposed in an earlier planning application it would seem the illegal shooting would continue.
