In north-east Victoria’s Federal electorate of Indi the ‘Orange Army’ that helped unseat Liberal Sophie Mirabella in 2013 hopes to keep to seat in independent hands. Guardian Australia’s  Lisa Martin reports.

“The group of campaigners who unseated Sophie Mirabella in 2013 are now fighting to keep the seat in independent hands.

McGowan has passed the baton on to the rural health researcher and midwife Helen Haines.

“I’m an underdog if you think about it from a historical perspective. Nobody has done this before,” Haines says. “In terms of the campaign spend, I’m massively the underdog,the article states.
