NFNL Finals Fixture

Details for this weekend’s men’s football matches in the 2019 WaterMarc NFNL Finals Series.

This weekend’s action includes the commencement of the Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 and Division 2 Under-19 finals, while its preliminary final week in the three senior women’s football competitions.

FIXTURES

This weekend’s – 24/25 August – finals matches are:

SATURDAY: Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 Second Semi Finals and Division 2 Under-19 Qualifying Final – Whittlesea Showgrounds
Seniors: Panton Hill v Laurimar 2:10pm
Reserves: Heidelberg West v Kilmore 11:55am
Under-19: Mill Park v Mernda 9:40am

SUNDAY: Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 First Semi Finals and Division 2 Under-19 Elimination Final – Whittlesea Showgrounds
Seniors: Kilmore v South Morang 2:10pm
Reserves: Old Eltham Collegians v Mernda 11:55am
Under-19: Lower Plenty v West Preston-Lakeside 9:40am

ADMISSION FEES

Admission fees into all 2019 NFNL WaterMarc Senior Finals matches will be:

Adults: $15 for all senior men’s finals, including grand finals

Concession: $8 (only aged pension, disability, carers and TPI cards accepted)

Children under 16: Free

FINALS PASS

Finals passes for the 2019 WaterMarc NFNL Senior Finals Series are now available for purchase.

Please note, the pass can be used once per day, granting entry to one finals venue each day of the 2019 WaterMarc NFNL Senior Finals Series.

To purchase a finals pass, contact the NFNL office on 9435 8228 or visit the office located at Office 11, 10-14 Simms Rd, Greensborough.

PARKING

Patrons attending finals at Preston City Oval are encouraged to park at Preston’s Melbourne Polytechnic on St George’s Rd each Saturday of the finals series.

Cars will not be permitted into Epping Recreation Reserve and Whittlesea Showgrounds. Parking adjacent to both venues is FREE.

There will be disabled parking available inside both Epping and Whittlesea but away from the ground fence line, for patrons with a valid disabled permit. All disabled parking must be booked through the NFNL office by calling 9435 8228.

The disabled parking entry point for each venue are:

Whittlesea Showgrounds: Main Entrance

Epping Recreation Reserve: Rear entrance behind the club rooms.

Preston City Oval: Does not have car access however limited disabled parking is available but must be booked through the NFNL office. A valid disabled parking permit must be provided on the day to gain access to the disabled parking area.

FILMING

The NFNL will only permit Sportscast Australia to film Northern Football Netball League finals matches (seniors, reserves and under-19s).

The NFNL will place signage at all entrance points at each finals venue, advising all patrons that filming of finals matches will not be permitted.

Any patrons caught filming during finals matches will be asked to stop filming or risk being ejected from the finals venue.

Sportscast Australia will be filming all finals matches. Competing clubs will be able to receive vision from the camera operator at the end of each match day by providing the operator with the appropriate SD card.

As per normal, senior finals will be uploaded to the NFNL website. All grand finals (seniors, reserves and under-19s) will be available to purchase as a digital download for $22.00.

NO DOGS OR ALCOHOL

No dogs (including dogs on a leash) or alcohol are permitted to be brought into any NFNL finals venue. It would be appreciated if all clubs would stress these points with both players and supporters and remind them that alcohol will be confiscated.

BAG CHECKS

The Northern Football Netball League has the right to conduct random bag checks at all finals venues.
