BUNDOORA, VIC. (NFNL HQ). — The NFNL is pleased to announce its full schedule of finals venues for the 2026 senior men’s and women’s football finals series.

Following the announcement earlier this year of NFNL football returning to Preston City Oval, the league has locked in some of the biggest days on the NFNL calendar at PCO, including the senior men’s Division 1 grand final and preliminary final, Division 2 grand final and grand finals for all three senior women’s Divisions.

Division 1 senior men’s lead-up finals before the preliminary final will be held at Epping Recreation Reserve, all Division 2 senior men’s lead-up finals will be held at Eltham Central Park, and the Division 3 finals will be held exclusively at Lalor Reserve.

The schedule for men’s finals reflects the need to work around the Northern Knights and Darebin Falcons VFLW programs, which both use PCO as their home ground.

Senior women’s lead-up finals will all be held at La Trobe University, before the Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 grand finals at Preston City Oval on Sunday 23^rd August.

NFNL CEO Daniel Kelly said the league was excited to secure venues which will act as the perfect showcase for NFNL football.

“This is a great result for our clubs and NFNL that we have access to Preston City Oval for the majority of our grand finals across the men’s and women’s Divisions,” he said.

“I’d like to thank City of Darebin for working collaboratively with us on confirming the ground for those dates and look forward to welcoming the NFNL community to one of the premier venues for football in the northern suburbs.

“I’d also like to thank Eltham, Epping and Lalor for hosting several finals across the senior men’s Divisions.”
