Residents and ratepayers are advised that a Special Meeting of the Murrindindi Shire Council will be held from 6 pm on Wednesday, October 31 at the Council Chamber, Perkins Street, Alexandra.
The purpose of the meeting is to elect the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, appoint portfolio responsibilities, advisory committees and trustees of the Yea Cemetery Trust.
The Council meeting timetable for 2019 will also be set at this meeting in line with the Local Government Act 1989.
