MELBOURNE, VIC. — This Halloween, Melbourne’s most notorious Gaol gets a frightful makeover – transformed for one night only – into a mischievous playground with thrills, chills and plenty of cheeky shrills. Step inside one of Melbourne’s most haunted locations and experience the Old Melbourne Gaol after dark.
During the day, visitors will experience a family-friendly Halloween adventure filled with ghostly characters, mysterious clues, trick-or-treating, crafts and games.
Young escapees will search for the Ghost Judge’s missing wig, create their own Halloween craft, pose for a spooky mugshot and complete a haunted scavenger hunt before presenting their stamped passport to the Ghost Sergeant in the Charge Room to secure their release.
There will be trick-or-treat lollies, Halloween courtyard games, spooky photo opportunities and activities throughout the day.
In the evening, it’s time for adults to throw on their creepiest costume and join us for a night of playful scares, unexpected delights, and memories you’ll want to share, or maybe not!
