YARRA JUNCTION, VIC. — Unfortunately, the Yarra Junction Community Link experienced significant water damage overnight Friday due to a burst water main and will be closed until further notice whilst Yarra Ranges Shire Council assesses the full extent of the damage.
“We’re working closely with our teams to relocate services, wherever possible, and minimise disruption to the community.
“We will continue to share updates and let you know how and where services can be accessed during this time,” a council spokesperson stated.
This is particularly disappointing news, coming just after council moved back into the building following the completion of roof replacement works.
Yarra Ranges Shire is aware that the Yarra Junction Community Link is an important place for many people, and the council appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as council navigates the next steps.
