The ‘Scrap Shack Alexandra’ and the ‘Scrap Shack Yea’ officially opened to the public last week. The winner of Murrindindi Shire Council’s competition to name these facilities (formerly known as ‘re-use shops’) was Anne Walton.
Anne was presented with a certificate and $100 council services voucher at Tuesday’s council meeting in Alexandra on April 24.
Scrap Shacks are open during Resource Recovery Centre operating hours.
