Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Coleraine about 5pm yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the Glenelg Highway following reports a car had left the road and rolled.
On arrival, police located a female passenger in the vehicle.
She was treated at the scene by ambulance crews but could not be revived.
The driver of the car, believed to be a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives attended the scene.
