This afternoon a shop attendant at the Summerhill Shopping Centre on Plenty Road, Reservoir East noticed the same tattoos on a man’s neck they’d seen on CCTV footage.
The shop attendant quickly contacted the police upon recognising the tattoo on the alleged offender’s neck.
It’s understood this person is a suspect in a shooting incident in Reservoir on Monday, December 9.

“Undercover police arrived and flashed their badges.
“They had the same tattoo on their neck that I’d seen on CCTV and published images.
“I contacted the police.
“I could tell they were undercover police when I saw their guns,” the shop attendant said.
Victoria Police is unable to comment for operational reasons.
