Latrobe detectives have charged a man following a series of burglaries in Newborough between April and July.

Latrobe detectives have charged a man following a series of burglaries in Newborough between April and July.

The target of the burglaries was a new housing estate with multiple burglaries alleged to have taken place.

Police executed a search warrant at a Moe address on July 11, locating allegedly stolen goods including ovens, shower heads, sinks, basins and curtains.

A 60-year-old Moe man was charged with burglary and handling stolen goods.

He appeared in Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court earlier today and has been bailed to appear again on August 9.
