GOBUR, VIC. — Victoria Police confirms human remains have sadly been found in the Longwood bushfire area.
Police were able to access a fire-affected stretch off Yarck Road, Gobur, this afternoon.
Sadly, human remains were found around 100m from a vehicle.
The person is yet to be formally identified.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
