MARYBOROUGH, VIC. — Police are investigating after emergency services were called to reports that two cars had collided on Park Road, Maryborough, resulting in a fatal collision just before 6.30pm yesterday.
The driver of one of the cars, a yet-to-be formally identified male, died at the scene.
His female passenger was airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 20-year-old man, was not injured.
His 17-year-old female passenger was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established.
An investigation is ongoing.
