BALWYN NORTH, VIC. —Boroondara Crime Investigation Unit detectives located a stolen car worth $300K yesterday after an aggravated burglary in Balwyn North on Wednesday.
The stolen white Nissan GTR was located on Leslie Street in St Kilda East just after 8am this morning.
The aggravated burglary occurred yesterday after unknown offenders entered a residence via a rear door on Sutton Street while five people were sleeping just after 1am.
Once inside, the offenders stole car keys and entered the garage, where they stole the Nissan GTR coupe and a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle, registration 3D6KA.
They also stole a blue 2013 Subaru coupe, registration ZVX823 parked out on the street.
The victims woke just before 7am and called police when they realised the vehicles were stolen.
No arrests have been made.
Detectives continue to investigate.
