GLADSTONE PARK, VIC. — At 10.01pm last night, Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) firefighters were called to an incident on Linacre Crescent, Gladstone Park, after multiple callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a fire in a garage.
Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find a garage fully involved with fire and escalated the response.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus established hose lines to attack the blaze and were able to contain the fire to the structure of origin.
Both occupants evacuated from the house safely and were assessed by Ambulance Victoria.
The scene was deemed under control at 10.46pm.
Victoria Police also attended.
The power company was also requested to attend.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by FRV specialists.
