Montmorency cyclist dies on Heidelberg-Kinglake Rd

Police are investigating after a cyclist died riding along Heidelberg – Kinglake Road when he fell from his bike about 12.40pm at Kinglake this afternoon.

Investigators believe the 57-year-old Montmorency man, who was wearing a helmet at the time, was riding alone at the time. It’s not believed any other persons or vehicles were involved in the incident.

The man died at the scene.

Investigators are yet to determine the cause of the crash and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
