Murrindindi welcomes triads to district

Investigative journalist Nick McKenzie reported tonight on 60 Minutes that Chinese junket operator and alleged criminal fugitive and business partner of Crown Resorts, Tom Zhou took “clients shooting at a property in Murrindindi.”

These clients were Chinese high-rollers lured by Crown Casino’s junket operators – such as Chinese Communist Party member Zhou – in Macau to Australia to gamble millions of dollars and launder money.

McKenzie attended the Murrindindi “sprawling cattle property” undercover and witnessed illegal shooting of wildlife whilst former Victoria Police Special Operations Group officer, Greg Leather, was allegedly working for the alleged Chinese crime group according to 60 Minutes and facilitated the day.

A source told Geelan Media in 2016 this was going on. When mentioned back then it was laughed off as “a joke.”

The editor of Kinglake Ranges News passed the property on several occasions between 2014 – 2017 when visiting his brother. It is now believed that neglected kelpies may have also come from this property.

More to come ….
