Victoria Police Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision that claimed the life of a 77-year-old woman in Mansfield yesterday afternoon.
It is alleged a car travelling east along Dead Horse Lane collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Mansfield-Whitfield Road just after 1pm, Friday September 14.
A Mansfield woman died at the scene.
A 22-year-old man from the United Kingdom (UK) has been charged with one count of dangerous driving cause death and been bailed to appear at Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 17.
