Last week Member for Indi, Cathy McGowan visited Kinglake, Strath Creek, Flowerdale and Violet Town to speak with the community and meet author Melanie Harris-Brady about her book, Ten Years On, a personal account of the Black Saturday bushfires and the decade that followed.
With the tenth anniversary of that day approaching, several organisations are arranging events and activities to help build community resilience.
