LATROBE, TASMANIA. — Tonight, Monday, August 3, students from the Geneva Christian College in Latrobe, Tasmania, will talk live with Astronaut Sophie Adenot, KJ5LTN, onboard the International Space Station. The contact is scheduled for 10:00:00 UTC or 8pm AEST.
The ground station for this contact will be Claudio, IK1SLD, located in northern Italy, who will supply the audio from this contact via the Amateur ‘Ham’ Radio Telebridge.
This is a rescheduled contact from an original one that happened in early June, which was unfortunately plagued by an audio malfunction.
Geneva Christian College is very grateful to ARISS and NASA for making this new contact happen so quickly again for this school.
