Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man following a series of fires in bushland in the Greater Shepparton area.
Detectives will allege that eleven fires were lit in Shepparton and Mooroopna between Thursday, May 1 and Monday, May 12.
The fires impacted numerous plants, trees, and grassland, but there were no threats to any properties.

Detectives arrested and interviewed a 76-year-old Mooroopna man on Tuesday.
He is expected to be charged on summons.
