CAMPBELLFIELD, VIC. — Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) firefighters responded to an incident in Nathan Drive, Campbellfield, at 11.21pm after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported a factory fire.
Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a tilt slab factory fully involved in fire and shooting “balls of flames into the air,” an FRV firefighter told ABC News Melbourne.

Currently, there are 23 fire trucks and 70 firefighters committed to the firefight.
Whilst the incident was deemed under control at 4.18am, a community advice for a factory fire and smoke in the area remains in place.
FRV’s Fire Investigation Unit will attend in the morning.
WorkSafe and a Building Surveyor have been requested to attend during business hours.
