Last night more than 50 firefighters responded to reports of a mechanical repair shop on fire in Sunshine following a triple zero call at 8:06pm.
Firefighters arrived at the Market Road scene within six minutes to find the 20m by 30m building fully involved in fire. They escalated the response, sending additional appliances, including specialist aerial appliances.
Four people had evacuated before firefighters arrived. One person was treated for burns by Ambulance Victoria paramedics and transported to hospital.

Firefighters brought the fire under control at 10:37pm.
Firefighters remain on the scene extinguishing remaining hot spots.
