Today’s charge follows an incident where emergency services were first called to reports of a fire at the Chapel Street address about 8.40pm on Wednesday, February 5.

A 60-year-old St Kilda man was located with fatal injuries inside the property.

Police will allege the man was deceased before the property was set alight.
