FOOTSCRAY, VIC. — Footscray police this morning arrested a man after an aggravated burglary after police responded to reports of an aggravated burglary at an address on Barkly Street.
With assistance from a canine (K9) unit, a man was arrested near the victim’s address.
Police seized a laptop allegedly stolen from the aggravated burglary.
Police will allege the offender smashed a window to unlock the back door and entered the premises.
Two residents, home at the time, were not physically injured.
A 32-year-old St Albans man will be interviewed today.
