At the Kinlgake Memorial Oval on Saturday (17 November) Kinglake’s First XI defeated the Strathewen Third XI by forfeit on the first day of a two-day game in the Northern Metropolitan Cricket Association “F Grade North” Manion Shield.
The Lakers collect six points for the ‘win’.
In other F Grade matches Preston YCW District 3rd XI lost the toss to the Lalor Warriors 2nd XI with Preston YCW accumulating 137 from 40 overs , with Lalor on 2/96 from 23 overs at the end of the first days’ play at I.W. Dole Reserve.
At J.C Donath Reserve (Oval Five) Reservoir – Mayston 2nd XI lost to Rivergum Fourth XI on forfeit and also collect six points.
Kinglake’s First XI currently sit equal third on the ladder with 15 points.
