WANGARATTA, VIC. — Police are investigating a fatal truck fire in Wangaratta South this morning.
It is understood that the truck lost control before it crashed into two parked trucks and subsequently caught fire on the Hume Freeway just before 5am.
The yet-to-be-identified driver and sole occupant of the truck died at the scene.

The occupants of the trucks, who were sleeping at the time, were not injured.
Police are working to establish the exact circumstances of the crash.
