Detectives are appealing for information to help locate the getaway vehicle used following a ram raid and suspicious fire in Dandenong last week.

Emergency services responded to reports of a fire at an acai shop on the Princes Highway at 3:55am on Tuesday, February 18.

It’s believed a stolen grey Hyundai Tucson was used to crash into the shop front before the store was set alight.

Investigators believe the Tucson was stolen during an aggravated burglary at a Cranbourne East address at about 1:20am on Monday, February 17.

The offenders fled the scene in a red or maroon Ford G6E FG series sedan, which was last seen travelling east on the Princes Highway.

No arrests have been made. Investigations remain ongoing.

Detectives do not believe the ram raid is linked to further incidents.

Anyone with information, vision or who witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
