Detectives have charged a 17-year-old Cranbourne North teenager after an alleged aggravated burglary in Fellows Street, Kew about 5.15am on May 31.

Police have been told that two occupants of a residence on Fellows Street woke to hear footsteps exiting their residence with three offenders gaining access to the residence.

Box Hill Divisional Response Unit and Eastern Region Crime Squad detectives allege the teenager stole three sets of car keys, before taking off with a 2021 Black Porsche Cayenne.

The allegedly stolen Porsche was recovered in Doveton on Monday, June 5.

It is believed the teen was allegedly involved in a second aggravated burglary in Glen Iris on June 3, where a 2023 Audi RS3 Coupe was allegedly stolen. The Audi was recovered in Cranbourne East on June 7.

A 17-year-old Cranbourne North teenager was arrested at an Oates Court residence on June 7 and charged with multiple offences.

He was remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
