Yea FNC hoping to start girl’s U15 team in 2018


The Yea Tigers Junior Football/Netball (YFNC) club are hoping to field an Under 15s women’s team in the recently (2017) launched AFL Goulburn-Murray Women’s League for season 2018.

The success of the AFLW has seen local girls want to continue their junior footy careers  and the Yea FNC is seeking girls who want to form a team and play footy for Yea next year.

The Tigers hope to work with Murrindindi Shire, AFL Central Victoria, AFL Goulburn-Murray and the state government to upgrade facilities to cater for women’s football if the Yea FNC is succesful in forming a women’s team for next year.
