Eildon Primary School students visit Canberra

Students from Eildon Primary School visited Canberra this week, meeting Federal Member for Indi, Cathy McGowan (Ind.) at Parliament.

As well as learning more about Parliament, they spoke about their leadership programs and highlights of the school.

Other highlights included visiting the Australian Institue of Sport (AIS), The Royal Australian MintNational Gallery of Australia  and National Museum of Australia.

Eildon P.S. Principal Jai Harrington and teachers Miss Mangelsdorf and Mrs Crowle attended with students. Ben Stewart attended as a parent helper.

“What an amazing time we [students] had on our Canberra Camp this week!”

“The activities we enjoyed were highly engaging and educational. The students gained so much from the experience and represented our school admirably,” Harrington said.
