Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man with murder following the discovery of a woman’s body at a property in Hamilton on Thursday evening.
The 48-year-old man appeared before the court on Saturday, May 17.
The charges follow the death of a Hamilton woman who was found at a property on the Henty Highway after police conducted a welfare check and entered the home on May 15, about 7.30pm.

It is believed the parties were known to each other.
The Hamilton man was remanded in custody yesterday and will appear before Warrnambool Magistrates’ Court on Friday, August 22.
