SEBASTOPOL, VIC. — A man was caught over four times the legal limit at the scene of a crash in Sebastopol over the weekend.
Police responded to reports that a white Subaru Outback station wagon reversed and crashed into a property on Albert Street about 3.15pm on Saturday, May 30.
The driver, a 63-year-old Sebastopol man, had already had his license suspended and got behind the wheel.
He allegedly returned a reading of .215 per cent BAC at the scene.
The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 79-year-old woman was inside the property at the time and sustained minor injuries.
She was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The man is expected to be charged on summons with drink-driving offences.
