12:54pm: Fire now fully extinguished. Firefighters are now completing overhaul and Alexandra Ultra Light and Tanker are now in station.
12:40pm: Thornton tanker is back in station.
12:31pm: Firefighters are using four lines of 38mm fire hose, whilst wearing breathing appartus, in an attempt to contain the fire to a shed that is detached from the house.
12:27pm: Alexandra captain calls fire stop.
12:26pm: Thornton tanker on scene. Four appliances are now on scene.
A bush in the backyard of 21 Bon St, Alexandra has caught fire. A carport is now under threat. The occupiers and neighbours are attempting to keep the carport wet whilst an attempt is made to move boats and vehicles.
12: 22pm: Thornton Ultra Light turning out to Bon St fire.
12:21pm: Aerial bombing was considered by the Alexanrda Captain but quickly as it’s “too dangerous in a built-up area,” he told Vic Fire.
