WOODSTOCK, VIC. — A planning application for the use of land as a Place of Worship at 330 Grants Road, Woodstock, will be considered at the Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

The meeting will be held at the Whittlesea City Council Offices, 25 Ferres Boulevard, South Morang at 6:00pm.

Up to 20 patrons are proposed to be on the site at any given time, with up to 30 patrons, three times a year.

Prayer worship services are from 8 am to 10.30am and 3pm to 7pm on weekends only.
The prayer services are hourly, with a 30-minute gap between sessions.

Up to 100 patrons are proposed to be on site each Saturday and Sunday during prayer services.

The works consist of an extended accessway and a 10-space car park.

A total of 753 submissions were received, including
366 objections and 385 letters of support.

One objection petition with 56 signatures and a supporter petition with 2631 signatures were lodged with Whittlesea City Council.

Community members are welcome to attend the meeting to observe the Whittlesea Council’s consideration of this application.

Whittlesea Council officers have recommended that no planning permit be issued.
