Woolworths and The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal are encouraging Kinglake Ranges residents to support seriously ill children across the state when they shop in the lead up to Halloween.
Halloween has become a popular occasion for Australian families and this year customers are invited to help other families when doing their shopping in the lead up to the day.
Local customers at Woolworths Eltham, Laurimar, Lilydale and Mernda Village can play their part by simply adding a $1 Woolworths Halloween fundraising token to their shop from today until Wednesday, October 31 2018.
100 per cent of funds raised through the fundraising campaign will help the great work of the Good Friday Appeal in their ongoing efforts to assist The Royal Children’s Hospital remain a world leader in paediatric care.
Funds support groundbreaking research, new technology and equipment, and training at the Hospital.
Director of the Good Friday Appeal, Anne Randall said; “We are so grateful for the long term support of Woolworths team members and customers to help the hospital deliver the best possible care to patients and their families and we encourage Kinglake Ranges residents to get behind the Halloween fundraising appeal.”
Woolworths Eltham, Laurimar, Lilydale and Mernda Village, General Manager of Operations for Woolworths, Andrew Hall said; “As kids and parents are carving out their pumpkins, selecting their scary costumes and getting excited for their annual Halloween celebrations, this year is extra special as it provides an opportunity to help other families at the same time.
